MYSTIC POWER proves too strong for BLACK AND WHITE in 2013

Malaysia Magic Millions Classic was inaugurated in 2000 with prizemoney of RM300,000 and was restricted to graduates Magic Millions sales in Australia and Malaysia.

The first runnings of the race went to horses (HURRICANE WARNING and KIKO'S POWER) trained in Penang and owned by Hydrocarbon Stable who at that time had the biggest string based in Penang.

In 2008, prizemoney went up again to RM400,000.

Then in 2009, Penang Turf Club and Magic Millions Sales Pty Ltd decided to open the race to Singapore horses and pushed the prizemoney to RM1 million.

Ipoh trained CAPTAIN OBVIOUS proved too strong for his rivals, winning easily ahead of Singapore entry LUCKY SUPERSTAR.

In 2010, the race was held in Kuala Lumpur due to the repair on the main track in Penang. HOT BUTTERFLY makes history when he became the first filly to emerge victorious.
