Marsh on career high with four-timer

Kiwi trainer Bruce Marsh has his best-ever afternoon when he saddled four winner on the polytrack at Kranji today.

"I’ve had a few trebles before but never four winners in the one day," said Marsh. "It’s a great thrill but I must admit it's a bit of a surprise."

Marsh saddled the winners of three consecutive races starting with SALVAGENTE (Drama Critic - On Leave by Centro) in the Class 5, Div 1 - 1600m handicap.

He then saddled BABA GIFT (Anabaa - Azalea by Marscay) to a narrow victory in the Novice - 1200m sprint. It was the gelding's second win in four starts.

SADDLERS CREEK (Scenic - Merriang Road by Persian Heights) to victory brought up his hat-trick before Marsh signed off the afternoon with STANZOUT (Jungle Pocket - Crazie Punt by Straight Strike) who returned to form after almost 10 months for his third win in 22 starts.
