Timely victory for promising galloper

MR TIMELY races past BE A MAN to clinch his second victory

MR TIMELY, a debut winner in Singapore two months ago, bounces back after two unplaced runs to win the Kranji Stakes C sprint over 1200m on the polytrack at Kranji here tonight.

Once again ridden by Danny Beasley, MR TIMELY (Street Cry - Snowcisco by Aceway) came from well off the pace early to race past BE A MAN and YIELD UP, who had looked poised to battle it out in the final 200m, to win drawing away by half a length.

MR TIMELY raced thrice in Australia, chalking up a win and a third at Mornington before he was flown to Singapore to continue his career.

DOREMI LA (Kashani - Rising High by Jetball) also put behind some dismal runs of late create an upset in the Progress - 1100m sprint. It was his second win in 16 starts.

There was also a surprise in the Class 5 - 1200m handicap when SENAPATHY (Hussonet - Somptuosite by Storm Bird) regained his winning form after four starts to record his second success in 14 runs.
