SINGAPORE:  Oct 26, 2010

LIGHT OF SUCCESS pips JERAM SPECIAL (partly-hidden) to win
the 2005 Yang Di Pertua Negeri Gold Cup in Penang

Trainer Len Treloar, who just days ago was fined RM40,000 by the Singapore Turf Club on two charges, has informed the Malayan Racing Association that he will not be submitting an application to renew his MRA licence for next year.

The Australian came to Singapore in 2004 and has saddled 111 winners at Kranji.

Treloar's best seasons came in 2008 and 2009 when he saddled 26 winners both year.

His proudest moment, however, was achieved in Penang in 2005 when he saddled LIGHT OF SUCCESS (Military Plume - Scentessa by Scenic) to win the RM1.35mil Yang Di Pertua Negeri Gold Cup (2200m).
