Argy Bargy too classy in Singapore debut

With a record of one win and four placings (all the placings in Group 1 company) from as many starts in Argentina, ARGY BARGY was all the rage in his Singapore debut at Kranji today.

Punters did not hesitate to install the three-year-old an odds-on favourite (S$8) in the Class 4, Div 1 - 1200m sprint and the colt, ridden by Barend Vorster, never gave his backers any anxious moment, leading from start to finish to win by two lengths.

Vorster said after the race ARGY BARGY (Mutakddim - Dona Streaper by Southern Halo) was still unsettled and sure to benefit from the run. "The future looks to be pretty exciting for him and I’m looking forward to be part of that.
