Ip Man too strong for rivals

SINGAPORE:  Nov 18, 2011

IP MAN bounced back from a narrow defeat last start to score a splendid win in the Class 4, Div 2 - 1200m sprint at Kranji here tonight, his second in three starts.

The New Zealand gelding, ridden by Oscar Chavez, settled off the pace early but stormed home in the home stretch to win drawing away by five and three-quarter lengths from DAVIDE who was attempting to complete a hat-trick.

After a runaway win in his debut in Restricted Maiden company, IP MAN (Mr Nancho - Crownie by Luskin Star) was beaten a nose in his next start.
