Another treble for Joao Moreira

With another treble at Kranji today, Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira hit the century mark for the second consecutive season.

Last year, Moreira reached his 100th win in September and went on to register a record 116 winners.

Moreira, who won the last two events on Friday night, continued where he left off, winning the opening event today on SAHORO (Bletchley Park - Zamerator by Top Operator).

Moreira then partnered QUINTA DE LAGO (Encosta De Lago - Slip Sliding by Thunder Gulch) to his 100th win of the season, which also turned out to be leading trainer Laurie Laxon's 50 winner of the season.

Moreira completed his treble on GORDON ROBERTS (Encosta De Lago - Gordon's by Kaapstad).
