What Now wins again over pet distance

WHAT NOW is proving to be something of a 1400m specialist after his fourth success over the distance at Kranji tonight.

Ridden by Joao Moreira, the Australian four-year-old provided the champion jockey with his only success of the evening when he carved out a head-victory in the Class 3 - 1400m handicap.

It was also the fourth win in nine starts for WHAT NOW (State City - Classic Look by Grosvenor) who was passed in at A$9,000 at the yearling sale.

WHAT NOW also provided trainer Cliff Brown with his 50th win of the season, placing him up to fifth in the table.
