Beautiful Choice wins Charity Cup

Just two days after the conclusion of the latest edition of the National Premier Sale,, BEAUTIFUL CHOICE has done the National Stud Farm proud by winning the RM250,000 Charity Cup over 1800m here today.

In a season when a record number of Malaysian breds are winning in open company, BEAUTIFUL CHOICE capped it all when he won the open handicap against some of the biggest names in local racing including Perak Derby winners MR AMBASSADOR and GOOD NATURE.

But BEAUTIFUL CHOICE, ridden by Jackson Low, rose to the occasion and fought tenaciously when when challenged by the vastly-improved WIENER to win by a nose.

The gelding, who cost RM100,000 at the sale, has now won seven times in 19 starts and earned over RM820,000 in prizemoney.
