Jockey Jose De Souza has been granted a stay of execution pending his appeal against a two-month suspension for reckless riding on LUCK DRAGON in Ipoh on Sep 8.

Last week, De Souza was handed the suspension and a RM2,000 fine at the conclusion of an inquiry.

The appeal will be heard by the Perak Turf Club Racing Stewards at a date to be fixed.
