Ten year old Thundershock still rocking

Ten year old THUNDERSHOCK showed he has still got some fire left in him when he carved out a narrow win in the opening race here today.

The Australian gelding was ridden by Lou Ho, who was still an apprentice when he scored twice on him in 2007 and once in 2008.

THUNDERSHOCK has been out of the winner's circle since his last win in February last year but his three runs earlier this year has been encouraging.

It was the seventh win in 78 starts for the veteran galloper who was placed once in five runs in Australia before coming to Malaysia.
