After taking a six-month break following a win and second last year, CASH ADVANCE continued to bring in the riches since resuming racing in early April.

The promising three-year-old, ridden for the first time by Matthew Kellady, made all the running to romp home by three and a half lengths in the Benchmark 83 - 1100m sprint on the polytrack at Kranji tonight.

It was his third win in five starts since coming back from the spell.

Coincidentally, CASH ADVANCE has now won all his four starts over the 1100m on the polytrack.

"He’s still a bit green and I think there’s still some improvement in him to go. I’ll probably keep him over 1100m though as 1200m might be pushing it for him," said owner-trainer Shane Baertschiger.

CASH ADVANCE was purchased by his father Don for just A$19,000 as a yearling and has now earned more than S$178,000 in prizemoney.
