Burnett wins appeal against suspension

KUALA LUMPUR:  Dec 12, 2014

Jockey Rio Burnett yesterday won his appeal against a three-month suspension and RM10,000 fine for his ride on RUSHEY GREEN on Aug 3.

The Selangor Turf Club Racing Stewards heard his appeal yesterday.

After considering submissions from Burnett, trainer Frank Maynard and the Deputy Chief Stipendiary Steward, the Racing Stewards allowed the appeal. His appeal deposit was refunded.
