Anna Scott gets first official win

KUALA LUMPUR: Mar 29, 2014

WYATT EARP, who gave new trainer Anna Scott a debut win last month, also gave the Kiwi her first 'official' winner when he scored his second win in three starts at Sungei Besi here today.

WYATT EARP's first win came in a Novelty meeting for home based horses and did count in the 2014 premership.

Today, the New Zealand gelding atoned for his last-start fourth placing to win by a length in a Metro C - 1600m event, denying another new trainer Ooi Chin Chin a winner in his debut meeting.

GOOD FLYING was one of two horses entered by the Penangite but could not repeat his last-start success.

There was also a close call for another new trainer Lawson Moy whose runner STREET OF LONDON also finished second in a Class 4 - 1200m sprint.

WYATT EARP was apprentice P Deneskumar's first winner of the season.
