Victory March heads for fourth win

PENANG:  Oct 25, 2015

A drop back in distance was just what VICTORY MARCH needed to get back into the winner's circle here today.

The New Zealand gelding was racing for the third consecutive week since returning to action after the equine influenza outbreak, finishing third over 1600m two weeks ago and second over 1700m last week.

VICTORY MARCH in fact ended a run of four consecutive placings when he easily won the opening event over 1400m today.

It was his fourth win of the season and also his fourth career success for the gelding who cost NZ$5,000 at the Ready To Run sale.
