WAR AFFAIR holds off MAJESTIC MOMENTS to clinch his 15th win

WAR AFFAIR bounced back from a disappointing outing three weeks ago to snatch a thrilling win in the main event, the Kranji Stakes A - 1400m sprint, at Kranji here today.

It was his 15th win in 22 starts, bringing his earning past the S$2.8mil mark.

But the day saw an unusually large of fillies and mares taking honours, five in all.

First to strike was LIM'S INVINCIBLE who stepped up on her unplaced debut last month to win by a short head in the Initiation - 1000m sprint on the polytrack.

Japanese mare SPACE ODDITY finally broke the duck in his 12th start while HIGHER SOUL, another Japanese bred, bounced back after 11 months to record his third win.

Irish mare MARGAUX also broke the ice in her 12th start while FORTUNE WINNER bagged her fifth win.
