Twelfth Avenue still formidable at 11

TWELFTH AVENUE marked his 100th career start in the best possible manner in the Amusement Park Handicap here today.

Ridden by Cheng Ke Ten, the 11-year-old battled it out with another seasoned campaigner WORLD SUPERMAN, who is just one year younger, before winning by a head in the Class 5 - 1400m event.

It was the 13th win by the New Zealand gelding who started his career in Singapore where he picked up just one win but has more than earned his keep in Malaysia since early 2010.

Without a win since May last year, TWELFTH AVENUE started at big odds and paid RM194.
