Coetzee and Lines win three races each

CLASSIC ARROW, one of the few remaining Malaysian breds still competing against the imports, returned to winning ways to kick-start a fine afternoon for trainer Kevin Coetzee here today.

The South African is slowly rebuilding his team after being left with just a handful of horses a couple of years ago. And he was rewarded with his first treble for a long time, winning with CLASSIC ARROW, I'M A GENIUS and ENLIGHTEN KNIGHT.

CLASSIC ARROW notched his sixth win in 36 starts in a Class 5 - 1400m handicap.

Coetzee, however, had to share honours with Richard Lines who also saddled three winners: AMI ELEVEN, POWERFUL FIGHTER and D'GREAT VULTURE. Jackson Low rode all of Lines' three winners.
