Sea Master rules the turf

KUALA LUMPUR: Feb 4, 2017

SEA MASTER, who returned to form after more than 1 1/2 years to win his last start last month, made it two consecutive wins when he made all the running in a Class 5 - 1200m handicap at Sungei Besi here today.

In so doing, the Lucky Owners gelding upset his more fancied stablemate, the favourite FUMIO, to win by 1 1/2 lengths. It was the fourth win by the Australian gelding.

Home based trainers made a clean sweep of the nine races with Frank Maynard and Charles Leck winning two each.

FULL BET was having his third outing in Malaysia, following six runs in Singapore for a debut third. It was his maiden win.

For STREET CHAMP, a two-time winner in Singapore, it was his second start in Malaysia, and a swift reversal of form from his last start when he finished last.
