Nova Missile on target again after move

NOVA MISSILE bounced back to winning ways when he silenced a few top guns to win a Enrich Stakes A race over 1000m here today.

After winning four races in 16 starts in Singapore, the Australian gelding resumed racing in Malaysia after a 10-month break last month with a third-place finish in a Metro A event.

NOVA MISSILE, now trained by Charles Leck, then stepped it up when he came from just off the pace to beat BRAHMA CIRCUS by half a length with FAALTLESS and MR NEVERMIND also in the picture at the finish.

LAUS DEO, meanwhile, has found success again in his second start for trainer Kevin Coetzee, winning the other Enrich Stakes A event. The Australian gelding had won six races in 28 starts for Malcolm Thwaites.

The big surprise of the day came in a Class 5 - 1200m handicap when HAPPY VALLEY, unplaced in eight previous starts, battled to victory to pay RM254 for a win.
