Lim's Dream back to winning ways

LIM'S DREAM powers to the line for his fifth win - SNTC photo

LIM'S DREAM bounced back to form to land his most important win yet in the Class 2 - 1200m handicap at Kranji here tonight.

The Australian gelding last visited the winner's circle last September, winning a Class event on the polytrack.

Promoted to Class 2, the four-year-old has raced four times since for three consecutive placings, also on the polytrack.

LIM'S DREAM has previously enjoyed success on the turf and a switch today saw him made all the running to win by 1 1/4 lengths.

"He deserved that win tonight. My initial reaction is satisfaction and relief," said trainer Daniel Meagher. "He is a work in progress that horse, he is actually quite a funny horse. We’re still learning about him, but I think tonight was just the way to ride him."

LIM'S DREAM has now won five times in 15 starts after being purchased by his owner for A$60,000 as a two-year-old.
