Apprentice Uzair's best day with treble

KUALA LUMPUR: Dec 6, 2020

Apprentice Sharudin Uzair enjoyed his best ever day when he booted home three winners at Sungei Besi here today.

The lad had recorded eight wins prior to this afternoon and enjoyed wide support apart from his master Lawson Moy with a book of nine rides in the 10-race programme.

Uzair was off the mark when he booted home THANK YOU BOSS in a Class 4 - 1200m handicap. The nine-year-old returned to the winner's circle after a lapse of 12 months to record his seventh win in 62 starts.

Uzair's next winner was WALKING THUNDER, who scored first-up in Malaysia after chalking up two wins in 23 starts in Singapore.

EASY SOUTH EAST, who failed to score in 13 starts at Kranji, also won his Malaysian debut today and was Uzair's third win of the day.
