Awesome Storm lashes rivals for easy win

AWESOME STORM remains unbeaten in three starts after an impressive victory in the Going Forward Trophy here today.

Taking command immediately after the jump, the Australian gelding then made every post a winning one, and was unchallenged to the line when winning by 3 3/4 lengths in the 4YO set-weight contest.

Trained by Simon Dunderdale, AWESOME STORM won once in five starts in Australia before coming out here and has outclassed rivals in Class 4 and 3 before tackling today's event.

MOONGATE LIGHT, winner of three races in 20 starts in Singapore when racing as DRAGON DUKE, made it two wins from two in Malaysia when he humbled 12-time winner GRAND CROSS in the Rapid Stakes event over 1300m.
