Grand comeback win for Distinctive Darci

DISTINCTIVE DARI gained sweet revenge on GRAND CROSS when he turned the tables on the latter in the Enrich Stakes A event over 1200m here today.

Last December, DISTINCTIVE DARCI went down by one length when the pair met in a Rapid Stakes A race over 1300m in Penang, with GRAND CROSS leading all the way.

GRAND CROSS again attempted to make all the running today but DISTINCTIVE DARCI managed to gain the upper hand in the closing stages of the race to win by 3/4 length.

DISTINCTICE DARCI came over to Malaysia after winning nine races in Singapore, including the Group 2 Merlion Trophy.

Although the son of Darci Brahma has been consistent under Richard Lines, he has previously picked up just one win for the trainer.
