Four consecutive wins for Ahtims Klis

A late starter to the game, AHTIMS KLIS is racing at her peak at the age of six.

Purchased for just A$11,000 at the Perth Yearling Sale, the daughter of Playing God began racing only at four and immediately showed her potential with two wins and a third in three starts in Queensland.

She was then sent over to Malaysia and under trainer Frank Maynard, picked up a win and a third in three runs before being sold, renamed (from Strip It Down) and moved to current trainer Lim Hoon Seng.

AHTIMS KLIS had three runs under Lim last year, finishing second last December, but is vastly improved this season, winning all her four starts so far.

Ridden by Yudanyl Aify, AHTIMS KLIS tracked pacemaker KERAUNO on settling down before overpowering the latter in the straight to win by 2 1/4 lengths in the Enrich Stakes A event over 1200m here today. She was the odds-on favourite and paid RM.
