No Regrets in reversal of form

PENANG: May 1, 2022

NO REGRETS, who finished down the field in six starts since his last win in November, sprang back to form to score in a Class 4 - 1100m handicap here today, giving jockey Lim Kar Ping his first win in 2022.

Lim was riding the Showcasing gelding for the first time and the pair settled just behind the pace. NO REGRETS raced up to the pacemaker at the 200m and surged ahead close to home to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

NO REGRETS was purchased for NZ$130,000 as a yearling and started his career promising enough with two wins in his first three starts in Singapore in 2019.

But he never reproduce that sort of form in five subsequent starts, finishing last in four of them.

Transferred to Sharee Hamilton here in Penang, NO REGRETS started to show some of his old dash before his comeback win last November.
