Double Trio debuts in May
SINGAPORE, 30 April 2004 |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Come Wednesday, 5 May 2004, racing fans can
look forward to betting on a new exotic bet offered by the Singapore Turf
Club.
The DOUBLE TRIO should appeal to many regular racegoers as it will be an interesting challenge to pick the first three horses in two races and the winning dividends are likely to be big. Customers have to select three horses to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any order in each of the two races nominated by the Club. Each unit bet costs $2 and the minimum dividend is $3. The DOUBLE TRIO will be sold at over 150 counters selling Place Forecast bets at the Singapore Racecourse, Town Office at Asia Chambers as well as the Club’s nine off-course betting centres. Customers have to use the new mark-sense coupon with the "DTR" option. The results for DOUBLE TRIO will be available on the same selected television monitors displaying the Place Forecast results. Unless otherwise decided by the Club, in the event that the Double Trio pool during a Singapore meeting has no winner, the amount will be carried forward as a jackpot to the Double Trio pool in the next Singapore meeting. The same practice will apply for the Malaysian and Hong Kong meetings. |
