Racing enthusiasts can look forward to
enjoying "live" telecasts of major Group 1 and Group 2 races from
Western Australian Turf Club (WATC), commencing this Saturday, November6,
with the running of the Group 2 Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot Racecourse.
The Club will be operating the totalisator for these eight races. The Winterbottom Stakes will be Race 1 of the "SIN" meeting. The "live" telecast will be available at all levels of the racecourse and all off-course betting centres. This Saturday, the Club will also telecast live and operate the totalisator on the Selangor Turf Club (SLTC) and Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) meetings. Racegoers will have to mark the appropriate meeting selection on the betting coupon as follows: "KL" for races held at SLTC The live telecast of the Hong Kong
meeting will only be screened at Level 2 and Level 3 of the racecourse, but
customers can place bets on the Hong Kong meeting at all betting counters at
the racecourse, off-course betting centres as well as Singapore Pools
branches offering tote bets.
