More Double and Double Trio pools

SINGAPORE,  26 October 2005

The Singapore Turf Club (SNTC) will offer more races for DOUBLE and DOUBLE TRIO betting beginning Nov 4.

The number of such pools will be increased to between three to five during Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Western Australian Turf Club race meetings, depending on the number of races in that meeting.

Presently SNTC offers only one DOUBLE pool and one DOUBLE TRIO pool a raceday.

To make it easier for customers to readily identify the DOUBLE and DOUBLE TRIO pools, the Club has standardised them to these combinations of races: Races 2 and 3, Races 4 and 5, Races 6 and 7, Races 8 and 9, and where applicable, Races 10 and 11.

Customers are required to mark the first leg of the DOUBLE or DOUBLE TRIO pool on the mark-sense coupon. For example, if the customer wishes to place bets on the DOUBLE pool for Races 4 and 5, he has to mark Race 4 on the DOUBLE coupon. Similarly, if he wants to place DOUBLE TRIO bets for Races 6 and 7, he marks Race 6 for that DOUBLE TRIO pool.
