Singapore racing fans can look forward to
enjoying more races from Hong Kong when the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC)
starts its 2005/2006 racing season on Sept 4.
The Singapore Turf Club will, in addition to taking the "live" telecasts of HKJC Wednesday night meetings and HKJC weekend meetings which coincide with Malaysian meetings, also be taking the "live" telecasts of HKJC weekend meetings held on Singapore meetings. SNTC will be operating the totalisator for these HKJC races. When the HKJC weekend meeting falls on a Singapore meeting, separate TV monitors will show the races from the two race meetings at the racecourse and betting centres. Racing fans can also catch the Hong Kong races "live" from the comfort of their homes through Horse Racing Channel 88 on Wednesday nights and Horse Racing Channel (HRC) 89 during the weekends.
