Mohd Airy, who has limited opportunities thus
far, made full use of his ride on BOOMER CAPITAL to score his maiden win in
the Class 5 - 1100m sprint on the fibresand track at Kranji tonight.
Indentured to Michael Clements, the 25 year
old was engaged by trainer Steven Burridge to take advantage of his 4kg
claim and the lad handled the Florida gelding well for a comfortable win.
Meanwhile, Japanese trainer Susumu Nigishi
saddled his first winner of the season when SILENCE TOUCH (3 br.j.c Royal
Touch - Nishiken Time by Hagino Jamui) romped home an easy winner in the
Restricted Maiden - 1200m sprint.
