Daylight Ahead captures
third Silver Tiara IPOH,

DAYLIGHT AHEAD captured the RM70,000 National
Stud Farm Silver Tiara for third time in four years when he registered his
ninth career win here today. Ridden
by R Poobalan, the seven-year-old mare by Posen out of the Serheed mare
Princess Gold, the oldest runner in the 1200m sprint for Malaysian breds,
gave her younger rivals a galloping lesson to win comfortably.
In 2004, DAYLIGHT AHEAD recorded her first
feature race sucecss in this very race and then went on to win the Golden
Tiara the same year. She won the Silver Tiara again in May 2005 and it was
to be another 21 months before she won another race. Her success today was
her second win this year.
