Pancho 'N Sal gives trainer Hah first win

PENANG,  12 May 2007

PANCHO 'N SAL showed up for the first time in three starts under his new trainer with a huge upset in the Class 5, Div 4 - 1400m sprint here today.

Ridden by Jackie Chuah, the American eight-year-old by River Flyer out of the Bolger mare Carmen Lopez coasted home by one-and-three-quarter lengths to pay RM163 for a win.

PANCHO 'N SAL has been Hah Kee Choy's only runner to date. His only previous win came in October when he started odds-on to win in Maiden company. He managed four placings last year but has been out of the money since July last year.

There was a bigger surprise in the Class 4, Div 3 - 1400m handicap when UNBEATABLE MAN (11 ch.a.g Covetous - Gem Of A Lunch by Lunchtime) showed up for the first time since December 2004, when he scored his fifth win, to win by one length to pay RM195.
