LIM'S OBJECTIVE passed his
first test over the mile with a comfortable win in the final leg of the
Three-Year-Old Challenge over 1600m at Kranji here today.
In going so, the Australian
gelding by O'Reilly out of Hasty Bird (by Bluebird) picked up a bonus of
S$50,000 for winning two legs of the three-race challenge.
But for a short head defeat
by ROYAL STAR in the second leg over 1400m early this month, LIM'S OBJECTIVE
would have made a clean sweep of the series and a $150,000 bonus.
Nevertheless, LIM'S
OBJECTIVE has proven to the best of his age with six wins and two placings
in as many starts since he began his career last September.
