New trainer Sam Chua saddles first winner

SINGAPORE,  11 May 2007

Just a couple of weeks as the new kid on the block, trainer Sam Chua has saddled his first winner when VICTORY CONQUEROR captured the Kranji Stakes C - 1700m event on the fibresand at Kranji tonight.

Ridden by Matthew Pumpa, the New Zealand five-year-old by I Conquer out of the Waikiki Star mare Winkum was always well up with the pace and scored by one length, repeating his win over the same course and distance in January.
