Carnival time for Fiezan in Penang

KING'S CARNIVAL (outside) heads off NINETYFIVE SEAL to
win the Japan Racing Association Trophy

It was the first ever meeting for Adam Fiezan at the Penang racecourse. But the champion Singapore apprentice certainly knew his way around the track when he picked up a win and a second from five rides today.

Fiezan flew into Penang this morning to receive his award for winning the 2007 Singapore apprentice championship at the annual MRA Awards gala dinner this evening and he celebrated the occasion when he partnered KING'S CARNIVAL (Don't Say Halo - Partner Me by Steel Glow) to win the Japan Racing Association Trophy (Classes 1 & 2 - 1700m).

Without a win since October 2006 when he picked up the third of his three wins in Singapore, KING'S CARNIVAL was having his third outing in Malaysia.

Having finished down the field in his last two starts, he was neglected in the betting and paid RM160 for a win.
