Two horses trained by leading trainer Johnny Lim were today disqualified from their respective races and Lim fined a total of RM20,000.

The urine sample of both LEADING WITNESS and JOKER DE BEST returned positive to "3-Hydroxy-N-Methlmorphinan", a prohibited substances under MRA Rules, after winning on Aug 9 and 16 here respectively.

At the conclusion of an inquiry today, Lim pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 134(6)(a) as read with MRA Rule 134(13) in that he was the person responsible for racing these two horses.

Lim was fined RM10,000 on each count and advised of his right of appeal.
