Wonderful Gift wears the Silver Tiara

WONDERFUL GIFT bags her first feature race with a hard-fought victory in the RM70,000 National Stud Farm Silver Tiara here today.

The three-year-old filly by Magic Of Money of the Slavic mare Lin Yin, ridden by Benny Woodworth, put up a gutsy display to defeat the much more experienced A NEW BEGINNING, winner of the NSF Silver Plate last March, by a neck in the fillies and mares event.

WONDERFUL GIFT, purchased for RM58,000 at the National Premier Sale in 2006, had now chalked up two wins in eight starts.

KYBER PEAK, who found one to beat in his last two starts, went one better to win the Da Ma Cai Stakes (Class 4 - 1400m) to record his second win.
