To create more racing
opportunities for the majority of horses which are racing in Classes 3 and
4, the rating bands for Class races held in Singapore will be revised with
effect from Jan 28.
The revision wil also allow horses to be progressed to higher classes at a
faster rate as there will be more Class 3 and Class 4 races.
The new rating bands will be revised as follows:

In line with the revised
rating bands, race conditions for Novice, Graduation, Progress and Kranji
Stakes races will be revised accordingly as follows:
a) The minimum rating required for Novice, Graduation and Progress races
will be 44.
b) The weight allocation for Kranji Stakes A, B and C races will be as
follows:

The new rating bands and
