Just two weeks after
booting his first treble in Singapore, Australian jockey Vladimir Duric has
done it again.
The Caulfield Cup winning
jockey was successful on three consecutive rides on MASTER KEY, SECONDTONONE
and RYAN JAMES but was unsuccessful in the night's main event, the LION CITY
CUP astride last year's winner CAPABLANCA.
Duric started his winning
act on MASTER KEY (Key Business - Rushing by Pembroke), the same horse who
kick-started his treble on Apr 10.
He quickly followed up with
SECONDTONONE (Catbird - Our Grace by Tirol), guiding him to his maiden win
in five starts.
Duric then took RYAN JAMES
(Thorn Park - Mighty Myrtle by O'Reilly), purchased by trainer Stephen Gray
for NZ$52,000 as a yearling, from well off the pace to score first-up in the
Initiation - 1200m sprint.
The treble tonight brings
his tally to nine from six meetings at Kranji.
