SINGAPORE,  30 Mar 2009

Jockey's riding fees for both Malaysia and Singapore will be increased from April 1, 2009.

In Malaysia, riders will now receive RM200 per ride. The increase coincides with across-the-board raise in prizemoney from the Selangor Turf Club April Meeting, the highlight of which is the RM600,000 Selangor Gold Cup.

In Singapore, jockeys will now get $250 per rider. With the increase, the Reward Scheme bonus of $50 for rides will be withdrawn.
