Fighter Jet bags Anniversary Cup

FIGHTER JET shot down his rivals to win the RM150,000 Anniversary Cup (Classes 1 & 2) over 1700m here today.

It's the first feature race success for the five-year-old who showed promise earlier in the season when fourth to COLOURLAND SUPREME in the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor in June.

Ridden by Grant Cooksley who had partnered him to victory last time out, FIGHTER JET (Jetball - Watermead by Charnwood Forest) came from a long way back early to easily by 1 1/4 lengths for his eighth win in 23 starts.
