TRIPLE LUCK (Akhenaton -
Casual Lies by Huntingdale) resumed from a short let-up after winning the
Astro Wah Lai Toi Sprint Trophy in August to register a runaway win in the
Classes 1 & 2 combined sprint over 1100m straight course here today.
The victory, his 10th in 25
starts, makes him a horse to beat in the Coronation Cup next week.
Simon Liew, the trainer of
TRIPLE LUCK, went on to complete a treble with TRIPLE KWAN (Stormy's Son -
Amberghini by Rustic Amber) and FOURTH AVENUE (Al Akbar - Agent Jane by
Sound Reason).
PACIFIC PRINCE, a Group 1
winner of 12 races in Australia and 10 in the MRA including the Kranji Mile
twice, scored his first success at stud when PACIFIC PRINCESS (out of
Bonhomie Gal by Bletchley Park) won the NSF 3YO Maiden Stakes over 1100m on
the straight course.
The filly is from his first
crop racing and was sold for RM47,500 at the National Premier Sale in 2007.
