E-MISSION registered her
third feature event of the year when she captured the RM70,000 National Stud
Farm Golden Tiara for Malaysian bred fillies and mares over 1200m here
today.
With apprentice Muhd Mutaza
astride, E-MISSION easily accounted for her rivals to win by two and a half
lengths for her fourth win in 10 starts.
E-MISSION (Magic Of Money -
Corporate Lady by Corporate Raider) won her debut in closed company last
year but has improved by leaps and bounds this season. She easily won the
Princess Stakes for fillies and mares in April and then became the first
Malaysian bred to qualify for the Malaysian 3YO Championship final when she
finished second in a heat in Penang.
E-MISSION, trained by Cecil
Robert, was unplaced in the Championship final but bounced back immediately
to win the NSF Sprint Vase over the 1100m straight course here last month.
After the Golden Tiara,
Mutaza went on to land two more winners, NATURAL PERFORMER (Brocco - Te Akau
Charmer by Sir Tristram) and WUNDERBAR (Euclase - Merbla by Carry A Smile),
to complete the best ever day yet for the promising apprentice.
