Goldschatz wins first Group race on polytrack

Brazilian jockey , who only recently returned to Singapore to begin an extended stay, was in brilliant form on the polytrack tonight when he booted home five winners.

It was his best ever meeting at Kranji, having previously ridden four winners on Sept 4.

Moreira also had two seconds from a full book of nine rides for the evening and his five winners were prepared by different trainers, a testimony to his popularity amongst the racing fraternity here.

Moreira kicked off his winning run on WILLIAMS (Elusive City - Itti Bit by Bigstone) and quickly followed up with another easy win on FANTASTIC SKY (Bletchley Park - Lady Balen by Northerly Native).

Moreira also scored back-to-back races on WINNING HEART (Howbaddouwantit - Island Girl by Kings Island) and DIPLOMATIC STRIKE (Bel Esprit - Mill Lady by Straight Strike) before winning the final race of the evening on FARRAND (King Cugat - Happy Play by Barathea).

"It has been an amazing night. I now have my family here and I’m just so happy," said the Brazilian.
