Revolte scores runaway win in Guineas

REVOLTE followed up on his last start success in the Stewards' Cup for three-year-olds over 1400m last December to capture the S$200,000 Singapore Guineas here tonight.

A small and select field of eight horses contested the Singapore Group 3 event over 1600m but REVOLTE (French Deputy - Grilse by Rahy) left them standing at the finish, winning by one and three quarters lengths from CLASSIC EXPRESS who was third in the Stewards' Cup.

POWERFUL RULER, second in the Stewards' Cup and second in the Three-Year-Old Sprint last month, came home third.

REVOLTE, bought by owner Jayven See for NZ$140,000 at the Ready To Run Sale, took his earnings past the $350,000 mark from four wins and four placings in as many starts.
