It's game on for the
jockey's premiership with just three racing days to go.
Azhar Ismail booted home
GOOD PLANNING (Elusive Quality - Bylaw by Lear Fan) in the Da Ma Cai Stakes
(Class 3 - 1700m) at Sungei Besi here today to draw level with Noel Callow
at 55 winners apiece although the latter still leads the table thanks to
more second placings.
GOOD PLANNING, a
half-sister to HAPPY VICTORY, made it three wins in her last four starts
with a runaway win.
Azhar missed out on a
double when he finished second on TRUE FRIENDSHIP earlier in the day. The
partnership went down to SANGO (Laranto - Cover Version by Karioi Star) who
benefited from a change of name (from OLD TOWN) and trainer to John
McGillivray to register his maiden win in 20 starts.
