Another trophy and quadruple for Azhar

Azhar Ismail scored a popular win on SPEED BABY in the RM95,000 Dato Yeoh Cheang Lee Trophy here today enroute to his second quadruple in as many days.

After starting off his career with four consecutive wins, SPEED BABY (Fastnet Rock - Twisted Heart by Distrted Humor) found one to beat in his last two outings but made no mistake this time as he cruised to an easy win in the Table 1 Race over 1400m.

Azhar, who shot to the lead in the jockey's table with his four winners yesterday, went on to win on SUNNING SAPPHIRE (Duelled - Istavana by Istidaad) for trainer Hoy Kee Poh before combining with trainer Kevin Coetzee again to score on SPEED EAGLE (Canny Lad - October Miss by Octagonal) and EASY MELANG (One Cool Cat - Pegarah by Grosvenor).

TURF SPEC (Magic Of Money - Bonhomie Gal by Bletchley Park), meanwhile, proved once again to be queen of the 'ladies' when she captured the National Stud Farm Golden Tiara for Malaysian bred fillies and mares over 1200m, after having captured the NSF Queen Of The Turf last December and the NSF Silver Tiara last May.
