BINTANG TERANG (late
Almoneef), who managed just two wins in 14 outings in Australia, is a star
in the making in Malaysia, just as his new name (which means 'bright star')
suggests.
Ridden by apprentice
Ruzaini Sopien, BINTANG TERANG (Elusive Quality - Nasmah by At Talaq) scored
a resounding win in the RM75,000 Shah Alam Trophy (Class 3 - 1400m) at
Sungei Besi here today, relegating the heavily-backed GOOD SIGHT to second
place.
It was the third win in six
starts in Malaysia for BINTANG TERANG, now trained here by Osman Sidek.
After chalking up just one
win in nine starts in Singapore, PRINCE GOLDHEART (Desert Prince - Dance A
Gallop by Salieri) is also making his own wave in Malaysia.
The six-year-old made it
three wins in three starts when he easily won a Class 3 - 1400m sprint.
