Singapore will hold a record 95 race meetings in 2011, up five on the number of meeting scheduled for this year.

This is despite the fact that there will be no meeting in Singapore the week following the international races in May and no races scheduled for the final weekend of the year on Dec 23 and 25.

The number of racing days for the Penang, Perak and Selangor Turf Clubs remains at 26 each.

The number of feature races in Singapore has also been increased to 31 for the new season, with the addition being the New Year Cup, the POlytrack Mile Championship and the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe (for two-year-olds).

Next year's MRA Cup will be staged in Kuala Lumpur on Mar 27.
